Chipmunks seem harmless, but in all reality, they're more like a groundhog and a squirrel combined.  When populations get out of control they'll den in your attic and walls.  They'll burrow under your patios and your foundation.  Left unchecked, these guys can cause a lot of damage.  If you see them in your yard, or at your bird feeders, get them taken care of immediately.
